The Presidential Coalition Contributes Over $125,000 To Conservative Candidates In Virginia

The Presidential Coalition, an affiliate of Citizens United, today announced that it will contribute another $23,500 to candidates across Virginia. To date The Presidential Coalition has made direct contributions totaling more than $125,000 in Virginia during this election cycle.

“With President Obama ending his failed taxpayer funded bus tour in Virginia, The Presidential Coalition has made important contributions to conservative candidates across the Commonwealth today,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “By electing these strong conservative candidates, Virginians will help push through Governor McDonnell’s important legislative priorities with a Republican controlled Senate and further the Republican majority in the House of Delegates. Virginia is a key state next year in President Obama’s overall election strategy. With a poor showing by Democrat candidates this year, President Obama’s campaign will be immediately on the defensive in the Old Dominion.”
