The Presidential Coalition Welcomes The New Progressive Caucus In The Virginia Legislature

The Presidential Coalition, an affiliate of Citizens United, today welcomed the creation of the “Progressive Caucus” in the Virginia Legislature. The Presidential Coalition will be active in this year’s Virginia state elections and will follow the Progressive Caucus’s activities closely.

“Virginia is a Conservative state, and the Progressive Caucus in the Virginia Legislature will attempt to force the failed liberal philosophy of President Obama and Democrat National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine on the people of Virginia,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “It will be the goal of The Presidential Coalition to make the newly formed Progressive Caucus much smaller after this year’s Virginia state elections, and we look forward to making that happen.”
